(1) Not every vehicle has the heating function of the rearview mirror. You should check whether your vehicle is equipped with it. Before using the rearview mirror heating, make sure that the vehicle is in the starting state, or turn the key to the on position, and then turn on the power supply before using the rearview mirror heating. It is important to note that this function should not be used again when the battery of the vehicle is low or the battery fails.

(2) When turning on the rear-view mirror heating switch, avoid mixing it with the front windshield. As shown in the figure below, the switch in the green circle is the front windshield defogging and defrosting button; The switch in the red circle is the rear-view mirror heater switch. Pay attention to the difference. Although there are three curved upward arrows, the figures are different. Although the vehicles are different and the positions of the keys are different, the heating switch pattern is the same.

(3) In rainy and snowy weather, when the heater switch of the rear-view mirror is pressed, the indicator light on the button will be on, and the electric heater will be heated to a fixed temperature within a few minutes, generally between 35-60 degrees Celsius. Hot gas will be emitted from the left and right rear-view mirrors (if the outdoor ambient temperature is relatively low). At the same time, the water droplets on the rear-view mirror will become smaller and smaller due to temperature rise and evaporation, and the fog will gradually disappear, So as to heat the lens and remove fog and frost.

(4) Now, many vehicles put the rear-view mirror heating key and the rear window defrosting and defogging function key on one key, that is, after pressing the rear-view mirror heating key, the rear-view mirror and the rear window of the vehicle are heated at the same time to achieve the functions of rain, frost and defogging.

(5) It should be noted that the rearview mirror heating setting of some vehicles works only when the ambient temperature is below 15 ° C. Therefore, if the rearview mirror heating does not work sometimes, the outdoor temperature should be considered first. If the temperature problem is eliminated and the rear-view mirror still does not work, it should be repaired in time.

(6) In case of heavy rain, the effect of the rear-view mirror on heating and rain removal will be reduced. In this case, the effect of rain protection will be better if the rear-view mirror is used together with the rain shield.

(7) In addition, the rearview mirror shall be heated as little as possible, and the time of each use shall not exceed 30 minutes, otherwise the service life, clarity and brightness of the mirror will be affected. When the rain stops and there are water drops in the rearview mirror, it is not necessary to heat the rearview mirror. You can wipe it with a dry cloth.
